ESPN Playbook: What has been your “Welcome to the NFL” moment?

Randle: I think it was just when I got here. Getting off at the airplane, people meet you at the airport and you’re signing things -- I’ve never experienced that before. It was like, "Wow, people are actually waiting for us?" That woke me up right there.

What are you going to miss the most about college?

Just the atmosphere. I played for a great program at LSU, a lot of great fans, a lot of great teammates. I’m going to miss the relationships I built there the last few years.

What are you looking forward to most about your new city?

New York is a great city, so I know I’m in store for a lot of things, whether it’s good or bad. I’m really just looking forward to getting the opportunity to go out and play with a lot of great guys.

What is your favorite video game?

It comes down between NFL Blitz and 007 for Nintendo 64.

If you could get a rookie card from one player here, who would it be?

I’d get RGIII, so I could sell it. I’d get the most money for his.

Who has the best college cheerleaders?

To be honest with you, I can’t tell you. I don’t remember seeing a lot of cheerleaders being out there. My mind was focused on the game. I really can’t even picture any besides ours.

What are your offseason goals?

Continue to get better, stay in shape, work on my craft, my route running. Also get a better understanding of the offense, so I can come in and play fast during training camp.

What was the NFL draft like for you?

Man, getting that phone call, I don’t think anything gets bigger than that. It was a lot of relief. A lot of stress off your back, and you can just focus on football from here on out.

What's the biggest difference between being a college football star and a pro football player?

It’s a bigger stage. Now you get paid to do this, so it’s a lot more important to be the best player that you can be. This is our jobs now. It’s not for fun anymore.

Who would be the one celebrity -- athlete or otherwise -- you would like to meet?

Meagan Good. I wouldn’t mind interviewing her.
