It was great, knowing you’ve wanted to be here since you were a little kid. It’s like your dream of being an NFL player has come true.
What are you going to miss the most about college?
Just being with the guys I met while I was there. Coming in with the class I came in with, those 23 guys, we became close friends. You don’t really know what everyone is going to do now.
What are you looking forward to most about your new city?
Just getting to know the area, getting to know the people. It’s all about networking. Football doesn’t last forever, not for long. You always want to get the networking going, just in case you ever need it.
If you could get one rookie card from one player here, who would it be?
Shoot, I would have to say Nick Toon. He’s a good friend of mine from Wisconsin. Good guy, good receiver.

What are your offseason goals?
Just work hard and get better at my position in any way I can, and my goal for the team is just to help out however I can and be productive.
What was the NFL draft like for you?
I chose to go to New York because I’ve never been there, and it’s a one-chance-in-a-lifetime thing to do when you get invited, so I was really excited. The hug was cool. He’s a cool guy, Roger Goodell, and I was really excited I just got the opportunity to play in the NFL.
What's the biggest difference between being a college football star and a pro football player?
Being recognized when I go to the airport. You have to disguise yourself a little bit more. Wear some stunner shades, a hat, and you’ll be good.
Who would be the one celebrity -- athlete or otherwise -- you would like to meet?
Ooh ... I’d want to interview Meagan Good. Yeahhhh.
