ESPN Playbook: What has been your “Welcome to the NFL” moment?

Martin: That’d have to be coming into minicamp and walking into the facilities, seeing all the coaches, then seeing my name on that locker.

What are you going to miss most about college?

Being with my college friends, all those memories and experiences I have with them, leaving them behind. Well, I wouldn’t say leaving them behind, but you’re moving on, doing what you have to do, going out into a new world.

What are you looking forward to most about your new city?

The whole state of Florida is filled with a bunch of cool places: Miami, Orlando, and Tampa is an awesome city. I’m looking forward to it. What is your favorite video game?

Best video game I’ve ever played in my life would have to be Super Smash Bros.

If you could get one rookie card from one player here, who would it be?

That’s a good question. [Robert Griffin III], I really respect his game. And Andrew Luck, I love his game, too.

Which school has the best college cheerleaders?

In the college game? Oregon has some good cheerleaders over there. I’m pretty sure everyone will agree with me on that one.

What are your offseason goals?

Improving my game and just trying to get into this playbook and grasp it as fast as I can. Show these coaches that I can pick it up and be ready to go.

What was the NFL draft like for you?

It was very nerve-wracking to have the cameras there at my grandpa’s house. I had all my family there for their love and support. Watching the first round and getting late into the first round was really nerve-wracking, but an awesome experience.

What's the biggest difference between being a college football star and a pro football player?

Being in the NFL, the expectations are definitely a lot higher. They pay you a lot of money to get the job done, and you have to pull through.

Who would be the one celebrity, athlete or otherwise, you would like to meet?

Eva Mendes. Eva Mendes. Definitely Eva Mendes.
