Kevin C. Cox/Getty ImagesThe #MainBro #BryceHarper needs you to #RockTheVote for him for the #AllStarGame. #Bro.MLB will track specific Twitter hashtags for each of the eligible players. It’s a cool idea -- although a risky one, because there’s at least a decent chance that involving Twitter in the vote will somehow force us to watch Justin Bieber play baseball.
Unfortunately, the hashtags MLB came up with are quite lame. David Freese has a good one -- #FreesePlease -- and so does Jake Peavy: #TakeJake. But the rest? Lame. Here are some better options.
Jonathan Broxton -- #VoteBroxton
#BroxTheVote
#VoteInJonathan
Yu Darvish -- #VoteYu
#YuDarVote
#TheYuThVote
Ernesto Frieri -- #VoteFrieri
#ErnestoMustGo

Jason Hammel - #VoteHammel
#PutJasonTheGame
#JasonGreatness
Michael Bourn -- #VoteBourn
#BournSupremacy
#WeLikeMike
Aaron Hill -- #FinHillVote
#DeclarinAaron
#HillTops
Bryce Harper -- #BryceIn2012
#BryceIsNice
#AllStarBro
#ClownVote
#Bro
#Brah
#Sup

There you go. Only the MLB-approved hashtags will count toward the vote, but you can add anything else to your Tweets that you’d like. #VoteEarly #VoteOften.
