For those unfamiliar with the Ichiroll, it's the spicy tuna roll named for Ichiro available at the sushi concession area at Safeco Field.
Will the Mariners change the name of the popular item? Will they discontinue it? Or will they leave things unchanged in homage to one of the franchise's greatest players?
As of now, the future of the Ichiroll is uncertain. Mariners spokeswoman Rebecca Hale said the team has no immediate plans and will look into the matter over the coming days.
"The trade was made only for baseball reasons and there were no considerations for any impacts the trade might have on things such as concessions," Hale told Playbook via email.
