West Michigan Whitecaps salute Pink Floyd

By Thomas Neumann

West Michigan Whitecaps
The West Michigan Whitecaps will party like it's 1973 in these unis.
The West Michigan Whitecaps are prepared to get a little psychedelic Thursday.

The Class A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers will play host to Pink Floyd Night at the team’s game against the Lake County Captains.

The Whitecaps will be celebrating the legendary British rock band by playing Pink Floyd songs and dressing up Fifth Third Ballpark with Floyd-themed decorations.

The team will have pudding giveaways during the game. Although, presumably you have to eat your meat first.

The Whitecaps will wear jerseys bearing the cover art of the classic 1973 album “Dark Side of the Moon,” and the night will conclude with a postgame laser light show.

If you can't get to Comstock Park, Mich., on Thursday, maybe The Wall Live tour by Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters will stop in your town soon.
