'NCAA Football 14' cover vote down to two
By Jon Robinson
Either Michigan's Denard Robinson or Texas A&M's Ryan Swope will appear on the "NCAA 14" cover.
With six rounds complete and more than 3.1 million votes cast since December, the “NCAA Football 14” cover competition is finally down to just two athletes: Michigan’s Denard Robinson and Texas A&M’s Ryan Swope.
To date, Robinson is the most voted-for player throughout the cover contest, and the man they call Shoelace even helped lead a trio of potential NFL rookies to a recent “Madden” Bowl victory, proving he has the gaming skills fans are looking for in their cover athlete.
But don’t count out Aggie Nation and its undying support for Swope. If it can pull off the upset, he would be the most unlikely cover athlete since Jared Zabransky in “NCAA Football 08.”
