'NASCAR: Inside Line' recreates Texas 500
By Jon Robinson
"NASCAR The Game: Inside Line" is offering more chances to recreate moments from the season.
Ready to change history, at least virtually? Using the real telemetry data from the Texas 500, the latest DLC pack for “NASCAR The Game: Inside Line” enables you to do just that, giving you the opportunity to jump in the driver’s seat of four different racers in order to rewrite or relive some of the most exciting moments on the track.
Here are the highlights that will be available to gamers later this week at a cost of 20 tickets (in-game currency), or you can purchase the entire season of DLC for $24.99 (2,000 Microsoft Points):
Highlight 1: Tired of Seconds Who: Martin Truex Jr.
Description: Chase down Kyle Busch in the closing laps at Texas and rewrite history by ending Martin Truex Jr.'s 209-race winless streak.
Highlight 2: Lucky Dog Who: Brad Keselowski
Description: On the final caution, the Lucky Dog was Brad Keselowski. He quickly moved up to 10th, but passing Menard for ninth proved difficult. Can you relive history by being in front of the 27 at the end of lap 328?
Highlight 3: Let's Go Racin' Boys! Who: Kevin Harvick
Description: Kevin Harvick was sent to the back of the pack for the race start following an engine change. Match Harvick's drive through the pack and reach 28th by the end of lap 12.
Highlight 4: Busch Whacker Who: Jeff Gordon
Description: Jeff Gordon overtook Kyle Busch on lap 188 after some close side-by-side racing. Relive the battle for the lead and overtake Kyle.
