Cedric The Entertainer is no stranger at making folks laugh. He has been in the comedy game since 1987, has starred in 24 movies and shows no signs of losing his touch.

Want evidence of Cedric's uses of humor? Just listen to his cracks about the ridiculous NBA wardrobes.

One can’t ask Cedric to find a better foil than Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, but the Miami Heat have players, such as Dwyane Wade, whose wardrobes fall somewhere between laughable and ludicrous.

Who’s got the crazier swag, Cedric?

“I’m rolling with Wade’s style over Westbrook’s half skater-boy, half little-boy thing,” said Cedric Kyles, aka the Entertainer. “C’mon, what are those little boy shirts he’s wearing with the hooks and fishermen on 'em? It’s like, 'Hey mom, I made it!' ”

Now, you know Cedric wasn’t about to forget the fake, oversized glasses D-Wade sport, right?

“I want to know about the glasses without the lenses," Cedric said. "I’m like, 'Really? What is that about?' I had to wear glasses and get chased home for a while. I guess it’s the vogue thing to say I’m a nerd, but I can't see it.”

People today can see Cedric on his new sitcom "The Soul Man," on TV Land on Wednesdays. Good “old school” clean laughs. That’s what sitcoms are supposed to be about.

His character, Boyce “The Voice” Ballantine, is an R&B singer turned pastor and he’s quite the Mizzou sports fan. Cedric holds some Missouri ties of his own as his sister was a professor of speech at the university and Cedric was born in Jefferson City, Mo. "So, of course, as a family we were big sports fans," Cedric said, "and enjoyed cheering for the Tigers."

During his recent visit to ESPN, Cedric had camera operators and anchors dying on "SportsCenter."

Could a sports broadcasting career be in Ced’s future?

“Athletes get to retire and become analysts. Comedians never get to do that! It’s time for a change. I’m ready to retire from the game and become a joke-analyst,” Cedric said. “Breaking news: Kevin Hart went crazy today! I’m Cedric. You’re watching 'JokeCenter,' stay tuned."
