LOS ANGELES -- Today is a bittersweet day for racing legend Carey Hart.

"This is the big one. The day that everyone always dreads," Hart said. "This is the last one."

Hart, 36, is competing in his final Summer X Games in the Moto X Speed & Style event at the Staples Center tonight. He'll be bringing out old-school tricks like his famous "Hart Attack."

Hart began competing in 1998 and has always been near the top of his sport. After some injuries, he branched out as a businessman to complement his racing.

He married pop singer Pink, did two seasons of a show called "Inked" on A&E that profiled the personality and work behind his three tattoo parlors, was featured on a season of VH1's "Surreal Life," owned a nightclub in a Las Vegas casino and now runs a Supercross race team called Dodge Motorsports/Hart & Huntington.

"As you can see, it's not an overnight change," Hart said. "I've been heavily involved in my businesses and my body is getting older. It's just a natural progression. I'll always be riding. But, as far as contests, that time has past for me."
