NBA legend Julius Erving made a special appearance this past weekend in Philadelphia for the launch of the Converse Pro Leather collection. Hip hop stars Asher Roth, Chill Moody and Young Savage also attended. Converse held a block party to celebrate local street culture with basketball.

“I had on sneakers when I played, sneakers when I practiced," Erving told the crowd there. "Each and every time I had on my sneakers, I had on my Converse."
