U.S. gymnast McKayla Maroney wasn't thrilled with her silver in the vault exercise -- at least according to the look on her face during the medal ceremony, when she stood arms crossed on the podium with a memorable scowl across her face.

Her somewhat unimpressed look caught the eye of New York digital designer Gavin Alaoen, who created "Mckayla is not impressed" on Tumblr. It began with a Photoshopped cutout of Maroney placed into three Olympic images: Alex Morgan's extra-time goal for the U.S. women's soccer team in the semifinals, gold medalist Usain Bolt posing with the Olympic mascot and the Team USA men's basketball team yukking it up on the sidelines.

Maroney said she was "kinda" impressed by the Tumblr site in a tweet that has since been deleted, but she retweeted this:

Just to be clear, Maroney said she was disappointed with herself, not the silver medal, on Thursday's "Today" show. Blake Griffin's epic auto dunk, not so much:

Maroney has been "not impressed" by anything and everything, including: Bane's takeover of Gotham, Kanye West dissing Taylor Swift, the American Revolution, the Sistine Chapel, graduating college and Beyonce’s pregnancy. Alaoen even published the original picture of Maroney so anyone could make their own.

Back to the beach. Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor captured their third straight beach volleyball gold medal. Let the fun begin:

Ryan Lochte won five medals, including two golds in London. The blowback against his pre-Olympic hype and out-of-the-pool antics hasn't slowed down his potential stardom, as the Hollywood Reporter notes that he's been offered two reality shows and a third concept is "being discussed." Stay tuned.

Chris Paul and Team USA got a little scare from Australia before putting the game away in the fourth quarter and rolling to a 119-86 victory. It was all business on the way home:

Aries Merritt's horoscope probably read "gold" on Wednesday, as he raced to victory in the 110-meter hurdles. Merritt, 27, led a 1-2 finish for the United States, winning in 12.92 seconds. Jason Richardson was second in 13.04.
