'Pump' re-release inspires look at old ads

The Pump. A shoe so iconic in the 1990s, it even found its way into a Mel Brooks movie (on Dave Chappelle, no less).

On Friday, Reebok re-released one version of these memorable kicks: the Pump Twilight Zone, signature shoe of former NBA All-Star Dominique Wilkins and part of an ad campaign Wilkins still remembers fondly: "Pump Up and Air Out."

"Pump up," for the pumps (obviously). "Air out," as a reference to Michael Jordan's signature shoe.
