ESPN's first late-night entertainment show "UNITE" debuts at midnight ET on ESPNU, and coordinating producer Yaron Deskalo said his team is ready.

"In many ways, we feel like all the college freshmen around the country this week: We're moving in," said Deskalo, an Emmy Award-winning "E:60" producer. "We're dropping our stuff off, looking around and meeting new people. We're eager to see what this fall brings."

Sports and pop culture news will be discussed by the three hosts -- Danny Kanell, Reese Waters and Marianela Pereyra -- through the lens of social media.

"We're a different voice with a unique spin on content," Deskalo said. "We want our hour of TV to go by quickly and think it will with the stories we plan to tell."

"UNITE" also has tapped into its existing "Campus Connection" program as more than 35 schools will provide insights from their campuses through live tweeting, photos and videos.

"Viewers can expect a more casual, laid-back approach to talk college sports with a little bit of irreverence and a lot of strong opinion," Kanell said. "People will immediately notice how hilarious Reese is but after watching the show they will soon find out he knows a ton about sports. And Marianela makes me look bad because she is smoking hot and on top of that she speaks four different languages!"

Here's a quick look at the talent for Unite:

Danny Kanell: Joined ESPN in 2010 as a college football analyst after playing football and baseball at Florida State. Kanell will continue to work college football games for ABC on Saturdays.

Reese Waters: Has been a stand-up comedian for several years and was named by New York Magazine as one of the city’s “Ten Comedians To Watch." He has appeared on Comedy Central and Versus Network.

Marianela Pereyra: Has worked for FUSE and MTV, covering music and entertainment. She also hosted NBC's "Poker After Dark." She also worked for ESPNU to cover college football tailgating.

And UNITE's resident DJ is Rob Swift:
