The new TV series about the life of Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson and former NFL player Hank Baskett begins tonight at 10 p.m. on WE TV. In May, Playbook talked with Baskett to preview the show. Here's the highlights:

How is the show "Kendra on Top" different than the previous show on E!?

"It's hard to say that the show is going to be 'completely' different because both shows follow what we do best, our day-to-day lives. But now that we are on WE, there's going to be even more that is going to be put out there!"

You've always talked about trying to live a normal life, even with the cameras on. Are you happy being part of reality television?

"If you watch closely to the show, you can see that my comfort level grew from season to season and I believe that this season on WE you are really gonna see me open up. You should act the same with the cameras on that you do when they are off. It's cool when people tell me after meeting me that I'm exactly the same in person as I am on the show."

What are you working on these days, and do you still miss football?

"I can't give that away because that's going to be one of the major storylines on the show. I want people to follow me and see what it's like transitioning from the NFL and almost having to 'reinvent' myself again with a new career."

Between us, you know people are going to make fun of the title of the show, right?

"Once we heard the title Kendra and I both were cracking up. We knew it was gonna cause as stir, both good and bad. But we see it the same we see life, you gotta be able to laugh at yourself! But the meaning of it is this season on WE, Kendra is showing that she is 'On Top' of her game! It's gonna be a great season and you gotta check it out!"
