As the November presidential election hits the homestretch, a prominent nonpartisan group that aims to increase voter turnout among young Americans has enlisted Tony Hawk.
The 44-year-old skate legend appears in a 60-second clip posted last week by Rock the Vote, which has recruited an A-list cachet of celebrities for its #WeWill campaign.
"Rock the Vote is running the largest nonpartisan voter registration drive this election with the goal of registering 1.5 million individuals," VP of marketing and communications Chrissy Faessen told ESPN.com. "We are thrilled to have Tony part of these efforts to engage his fans in the process and ensure they are registered and voting on Nov. 6."
Bookended by Miranda Cosgrove's opener and Miley Cyrus' sign-off, Hawk's quick one-liner -- "We will vote" -- joins a clip featuring Neil Patrick Harris, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson of "Modern Family," and members of the cast of "Glee," among many others.
