William Shatner in Red Sox baseball video

Boston native Brian Evans tried to find a silver lining in the disastrous 2012 Red Sox season and came up with this original song and video -- "At Fenway" -- which was posted on YouTube this week.

Among the lyrics: "No matter where you sit, you're going to be in heaven for a little bit." We're not sure how many Red Sox fans felt that way last season, especially if they were in one of those famed "pole seats." The team finished 69-93, its worst record since 1965.

The video features William Shatner of "Star Trek," "Boston Legal" and Priceline fame as an umpire. Shatner turned 82 on March 22. The video is set at Fenway Park and was shot there after a Red Sox game last September. If you need proof, just check the standings in the left-field scoreboard, visible at the 2:09 mark of the clip. They show Boston 20.5 games out of first.

"At Fenway" is part of an 11-song album of the same name available at BrianEvans.com exclusively before its full distribution April 9.
