No sure thing for Donald Driver on 'Dancing'
By Lynn Hoppes
Clay Matthews and Aaron Rodgers showed up to give Donald Driver support on "Dancing."
In easily the closest semifinals in history for ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," it's not a sure bet that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver moves into the finals next week.
Driver and partner Peta Murgatroyd danced the waltz, and judge Bruno Tonioli said Driver showed a "caring, gentle, soft quality" in earning a score of 28 out of 30 points. They then danced the samba for 29 points and a two-dance total of 57. That was the third highest score of the night.
Latin hunk William Levy scored 59 (29 and 30), and judge Len Goodman said, "Talk about the hunk with the junk in his trunks!"
TV personality Maria Menounos also scored 59 (30 and 29), and judge Carrie Ann Inaba said, "That was another stunner. You are a winner tonight."
The low scorer of the night was opera star Katherine Jenkins, who scored 56 (29 and 27) and seemed like the person going home.
But it's no sure thing. One couple will leave on Tuesday. Will Packers Nation jam the phone lines to push Driver to the finish?
