Chris Jericho got into trouble in his match against C.M. Punk. He apologized but still was suspended.
Pro wrestler Chris Jericho was suspended today for crumpling a Brazilian flag and kicking it out of the ring in a match against C.M. Punk in Brazil Thursday night. Police stepped in and almost arrested Jericho on the spot. He did apologize.

"Jericho has been suspended indefinitely due to an irresponsible act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a WWE event in Sao Paulo on May 24," the WWE said in a statement. "The WWE has apologized to the citizens and the government of Brazil for this incident."

Desecrating a national flag is a crime in that country.

WWE later in the day announced the suspension was for 30 days.
