Trending: Bruins Tyler Seguin looks for date

Hard to believe Boston Bruins forward Tyler Seguin would need help getting a date, being a young, single, handsome and very eligible 20-year-old bachelor in a hockey-crazed city such as Boston. But the Class A Lowell (Mass.) Spinners had a "Speed Dating Night with Tyler Seguin" on Wednesday, with several women chosen by the team getting the chance to spend some quality time -- five minutes apiece -- with Seguin during the Spinners' 8-3 victory over Aberdeen.

There were plenty of potential love connections:

One of his Bruins teammates had some good wishes and advice:

@tylerseguin92Wanted to wish you luck at the matchmaking, I mean baseball game tonight.See you travelled with your groomsmen just in case.

@lowellspinners And please remind him to use his manners when the girls come to meet him tonight. Thank you.

The guest of honor survived a close call on a line-drive foul but was spared thanks to the "save of the summer" by Spinners Vice President Daniel Beaulieu, although one phone was lost in the process:

Wow! @lowellspinners VP Daniel Beaulieu made the save of the summer - stopped this foul ball to protect Tyler. ^BISH twitter.com/NHLBruins/stat…
