The botched call at the end of Monday night's Seahawks-Packers game triggered more than 1 million mentions on Twitter and was ranked No. 6 on Facebook's list of most-discussed events of the year, ranking behind the presidential election campaign, the Super Bowl, the royal wedding and the speeches of President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton at the Democratic National Convention. Lang's series of profanity-laced tweets about the touchdown/interception at the end of Monday's game were retweeted more than 165,000 times.
