Dec. 7, 1947/1956/1973: Three sports, three Hall of Famers (probably), one birthday -- this day, which 65, 56 and 39 years ago brough Johnny Bench, Larry Bird and Terrell Owens into the world.

Bench: Two MVPs; 14 All-Star appearances; two World Series titles; one World Series MVP; considered by many to be the best catcher of all time; 1989 Hall of Fame inductee.

Bird: Three MVPs; two Finals MVPs; three titles; 12 All-Star selections; only person to win NBA MVP, Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year (Boston Celtics as player, Indiana Pacers as coach and executive); 1998 Hall of Fame inductee.

Owens: Six Pro Bowl selections; five first-team All-Pro selections; second all-time in NFL career receiving yards; third all-time in NFL career receiving touchdowns; tied for fourth all-time in NFL total touchdowns.
