"Pro Files," ESPN's weekly video series featuring PGA Tour golfers, caught up recently with Ben Crane to talk influences. Oh, and using lasers on the course. And designing shoes. Lots of shoes.

We shouldn't be surprised, though. Crane long has been one of professional sports' -- let alone golf's -- funniest guys, giving Blake Griffin a run for his winnings money in terms of deadpan hilarity.

Here are some of Crane's finest moments -- including a music video you might have seen once or twice:

Crane, responding to claims that he's a "slow" golfer:

Crane's workout routine, which sometimes involves just hitting stuff with foamy objects:

Crane failing (and therefore falling, hard) as a gymnast:

Crane on dancing -- which is less about the movement than what he's wearing:

The unforgettable viral hit "Golf Boys," also featuring Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan:

And finally, some home video of Crane dancing with his daughter:

Patrick Dorsey works for SportsNation. He has worked for the Web and newspapers, had a cup of craft service coffee in film school, and played in one Division III golf tournament (he shot 105).
