That wristband you see on Russell Westbrook's right arm is important to the Oklahoma City Thunder star. It bears "KB3," for Khelcey Barrs III, Westbrook's friend, teammate and fellow basketball standout when the two grew up in Los Angeles.

But things took a tragic turn in 2004, when Barrs died from an enlarged heart during a pickup game. So Westbrook keeps his memory alive, wearing those wristbands.
