June 1, 1979: It was a Seattle first, and a Seattle only. On this day 33 years ago, the SuperSonics beat the Washington Bullets in the fifth game of the Finals, securing the NBA championship. Days later came the above mob scene surrounding coach Lenny Wilkens -- surely one of the happiest sports moments for a city that has experienced plenty of sad ones.
