TaylorMade Golf Company This swing was far sweeter than any taken at Matt Cain's pitches on Wednesday night. That's right. Before the evening's game, Cain (a noted golf enthusiast) and PGA Tour player Dustin Johnson (in town for the U.S. Open) launched golf balls into McCovey Cove from home plate, for an event whose hashtag (#DriverCove) was a hit before nobody got hits against Cain.
Johnson also threw out the game's first pitch, before Cain threw the first perfect game in San Francisco Giants franchise history.
