June 17, 1997: On this day 15 years ago, the NHL announced its expansion rollout plan, debuting Atlanta in 1999 and Minnesota and Columbus in 2000. But first, in 1998-99: the Nashville Predators, a team that since its inaugural game shown above has given memorable moments to many a father and son (not to mention mother and daughter -- but, hey, it's Father's Day).
