Yearbook, Aug. 8: Wrigley takes the night

Aug. 8, 1988: On this day 24 years ago, night fell on Chicago's North Side ... and then the baseball started, as Wrigley Field played host to the first after-dark game in its history.

The evening didn't last long, however; rain stopped the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies in the fourth inning, meaning the game never officially happened.
