Yearbook, Aug. 10: Fans cause forfeit

Aug. 10, 1995: Disco Demolition Night -- and its subsequent forfeit -- is legendary. But what about Major League Baseball's next forfeit of a game? That took place at Dodger Stadium on this day 17 years ago, when angry fans threw baseballs on the field multiple times (picked up above by a bat boy and groundskeeper). This forced umpires to call things off in the ninth inning, with the St. Louis Cardinals up 2-1.
