Sept. 24, 1994: Hail Flutie? It's safe to say most sports fans know about Hail Flutie.
But the Miracle at Michigan? It's not as well-known but arguably as impressive, as on this day 18 years ago Kordell Stewart's 64-yard Hail Mary -- with the throw actually covering about 70 yards -- was tipped by Blake Anderson and landed in Michael Westbrook's hands, helping the seventh-ranked Colorado Buffaloes shock the No. 4 Michigan Wolverines 27-26 in Ann Arbor.
"You become a little kid," then-Colorado offensive coordinator Rick Neuheisel said at the time. "You become euphoric. You're, like, elevated. You're exploding. You look over there, and those guys are absolutely devastated and you're parading."
