Yearbook, Oct. 28: Atlanta aces the Series

Oct. 28, 1995: Greg Maddux. Tom Glavine. John Smoltz.
That group of Atlanta Braves starting pitchers dominated regular seasons in the 1990s, and, on this day 17 years ago, those hurlers sealed their lone World Series title on their third trip -- with a 1-0 win, naturally, started by eventual series MVP Glavine, which sealed a 4-2 takedown of the Cleveland Indians.
