As first reported here, baseball is back! And football's not too far behind it.

On Saturday we saw a melding of the two, as Chicago Cubs pitcher Jeff Samardzija -- himself a former high-level football player -- watched Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler throw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field.
