Kiper's Mock 3.0: Chargers

By securing running back Donald Brown in free agency, the San Diego Chargers filled an important need heading into the 2014 season -- a legitimate backup to spell bruising running back Ryan Mathews.

However, the Chargers still need to address holes on the defensive side of the ball, including help along the interior of the defensive line, at edge rusher and in the secondary. With limited salary cap space available, San Diego might have to rely on finding players to fill those needs through the draft or trade.

In ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper's first mock draft, he had the Chargers taking Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby with the team's No. 25 overall selection.

In his second mock draft, Kiper pegged Florida cornerback Marcus Roberson to San Diego.

Check out Kiper’s mock draft 3.0 Insider to see which players he now thinks the Chargers should target with their first-round selection.
