The San Diego Chargers released their first depth chart before the team's exhibition opener against the Dallas Cowboys next week on Friday.

As always, these early depth charts might as well be written in pencil. But it's still interesting to see how head coach Mike McCoy evaluates his roster a week into training camp.

As expected, rookie Chris Watt is listed as the team's starting right guard, with Nick Hardwick at center, Chad Rinehart at left guard, King Dunlap at left tackle and D.J. Fluker at right tackle.

David Johnson is listed as the team's starting fullback. Seyi Ajirotutu is listed as the second team split end behind Keenan Allen. Dontrelle Inman and Tevin Reese are behind Ajirotutu.

Donald Brown is listed as the team's top kick returner, and Eddie Royal as the top punt returner.

Defensively, Shareece Wright and Brandon Flowers are penciled in as the starting cornerbacks, and Marcus Gilchrist is the starting strong safety next to Eric Weddle.
