San Diego Chargers: 2013 NFL Week 3 Power Rankings
Preseason ranking: 23 | Last Week: 26 | ESPN.com Power Ranking since 2002
The San Diego Chargers were the big movers in Week 3. They moved up 10 spots.
Is this huge move warranted?
Perhaps, and perhaps not. The Chargers probably shouldn't have been ranked as low as No. 26 after losing to Houston. But the Eagles were the flavor of the moment in the NFL. So the Chargers’ 33-30 win in Philadelphia opened some eyes.
I’d probably rank the Chargers in the 16-18 range. They are not a great team, but they’ve played well in the first two weeks. They are competitive and will get better if they can stay healthy. Mike McCoy is doing a good job with what he has.
The arrow is definitely pointing up in San Diego.
