LONDON -- Here are some highlights from our San Francisco 49ers chat, which was held earlier Thursday:

Kristian from Wall Street, NY: Assuming the Niners win this week and are 6-2 going into their bye, don't you think this is exactly where they would want to beat the beginning of the season? 6-2 and hopefully getting healthy for the second half of the season.

Bill Williamson: For sure. Every team's goal is to go 3-1 every quarter. After starting 1-2, 6-2 at the bye would be tremendous. Easy schedule down the road. Fourth easiest in the NFL.

Chris from Rhode Island: Hey Bill, I’ve read somewhere about how excited you are for Tank Carradine to show off his talent. My question is, what is it about Tank or what has he shown you up to this point to earn such a stand on his NFL potential?

BW: Watch his college tape. He can be a star if he stays healthy.

Brian from Clovis: Bill, what kind of impact do you think Eric Wright can have? Do you see somebody like Brock, Brown or Rogers being usurped by him?

BW: He can be good, but the other three are playing really well.
