LONDON -- Some San Francisco 49ers complained about the soggy conditions of their practice fields this week in England. Coach Jim Harbaugh countered that the practice on the wet field could serve the team well if the conditions are tough Sunday night at Wembley Stadium when the 49ers play Jacksonville.
Harbaugh could have offered his team sage advice. There is a chance the game will be played in terrible conditions.
The forecast is for England to be hit with its worst storm of this century Monday. There is now forecast that there could be heavy rain and winds up to 70 miles per mile Sunday night.
The forecast is not certain if it will affect the game, which starts at 5 p.m. local time, but there is potential for ugly weather during the game.
