Anquan Boldin's incredible first game as a San Francisco 49ers is complete.

He was named the NFC offensive player of the week for his role in the 49ers’ 34-28 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Boldin caught 13 passes for 208 yards. Nearly every catch was clutch, including a key fourth and 2 play in the fourth quarter that helped seal the game. The performance was a message to the league that the 49ers will be fine while Michael Crabtree is out until leat in the season. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick is taking advantage of his new toy.

And a cheap one. The 49ers sent a sixth-round pick to Baltimore for Boldin. The Ravens used that pick and two others to move up and take linebacker Arthur Brown in the second round.
