In an Insider piece, Scouts Inc. takes a look at the draft needsInsider for the NFC West teams.

I plan on further exploring the San Francisco 49ers' needs after their season ends. As of now, Scouts Inc. thinks the 49ers’ top needs are receiver, cornerback and defensive line.

I think their biggest needs are at receiver and cornerback. The 49ers are to have at least 13 picks in the May draft. This is one of the most loaded teams in the NFL. There is no way they are going to fit even five or six rookies on the 53-man roster in 2014. Thus, I think the 49ers should use their many picks as trade chips and snag top prospects at receiver and cornerback.
