SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The San Francisco 49ers have been sending themselves musical messages all week.

Every week before a road game, the 49ers play music during practice to prepare for the crowd noise. That is of particular importance this week as the 49ers prepare to play Sunday at Seattle in the NFC Championship game. Seattle's CenturyLink Stadium is known as the loudest stadium in the NFL.

As the 49ers pump the music, they are trying to get themselves motivated. They played a classic Johnny Cash travel song Wednesday as an ode to the fact that this will be their fifth road game in the past six weeks.

In a subtle move Thursday, the 49ers gave themselves Super Bowl motivation when they played a snippet of Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" during practice. The city, of course, is the host of Super Bowl activities but the game will be played in nearby New Jersey.
