While Los Angeles authorities consider charges against Aldon Smith for making a fake bomb threat at LAX last month, Smith has had a court date continued.

Smith was to have a hearing at Santa Clara Superior Court on Monday. It was continued to May 21, according to CSNBayArea.com. The hearing is on felony gun charges stemming from a 2012 party at his home and a drunken driving arrest fin September 2013. A plea bargain is possible in the case.

Meanwhile, a spokesman from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Monday it is still reviewing Smith’s arrest at LAX on April 13. The office has been reviewing the case for a couple of weeks. Smith is facing a misdemeanor if charged.

Smith, 24, is working with the 49ers during their voluntary offseason program. He likely faces an NFL suspension if convicted in any of his criminal cases.
