The San Francisco 49ers have clearly put their early-season trouble behind them. After getting blown out by a combined 56-10 in Weeks 2 and 3 by Seattle and Indianapolis (it was the first time the 49ers had lost consecutive games under coach Jim Harbaugh), the team has straightened itself out.
The 49ers have won three straight, by a combined score of 101-34. So all seems to be right again in San Francisco.
However, the 49ers are not moving up in the Power Rankings. They remain at No. 7 this week.
They are the second-highest ranked 4-2 team. The Colts, likely on the virtue of their win over the 49ers, are No. 6.
