RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks signal-caller Russell Wilson is the fourth quarterback since AFL-NFL merger in 1970 to win his first 12 career starts at home, joining Danny White, Kurt Warner and, Marc Bulger.
The interesting thing about Wilson’s effort in the 27-24 overtime victory over Tampa Bay Sunday was how well he played under pressure. Wilson threw both of his touchdowns, and 125 of his 217 passing yards, while under duress. He was as good or better under pressure in almost every statistical category.
Wilson has led the Seahawks to 10 fourth-quarter/overtime comebacks in his 27 career starts, including three times this season.
