Yankees use Seahawks QB Russell Wilson as example of how to deal with media

Every morning, we'll round up local and national Seattle Seahawks-related links.

Interesting note from ESPN's Andrew Marchand out of New York Yankees spring training:

During the Yankees' media training, the Super Bowl is being used to portray the right and wrong way to act. Part of a video shown to pitchers and catchers compares how Cam Newton handled his Super Bowl loss with the way Russell Wilson dealt with his defeat the previous year.

Wondering how the Seahawks are spending their time this offseason? Fun Instagram video at Cliff Avril's house with Michael Bennett, Brandon Mebane and Marshawn Lynch playing basketball:

Seahawks CB Jeremy Lane talked to Sirius XM about his plans for free agency, via Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times:

“Oh yeah, of course, if the situation was right I would love to go back to the Seahawks," he said. “They were the team to give me my first opportunity to showcase my skills in the NFL (drafting him in the sixth round in 2012 out of Northwestern State in Louisiana) and I appreciate them. They would be my number-one choice I would go to if they were the right choice for me and my family."
