NFLN survey/feared player: Seahawks

Believe it or not, the Seahawks didn’t cast a single vote for Detroit defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh as the most feared player in the NFL, but they thought a lot of his teammate Calvin Johnson.

The Detroit receiver, known as Megatron, received half of Seattle’s 10 votes in our survey. Overall, Suh edged out Johnson by only three votes (61 to 58) across the league to win the category.

Denver quarterback Peyton Manning got two Seattle votes, while Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson and Houston defensive lineman J.J. Watt received one vote each.

For the Seahawks, this category seemed to be more about what a player can do to beat you more than what he can do to scare you.
