RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks have next weekend off before opening the playoffs at CenturyLink Field on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 4:35 p.m. ET.

If the New Orleans Saints (11-5) defeat the Philadelphia Eagles (10-6) on the road Saturday, the Saints would return to Seattle, the place where they lost 34-7 in the Monday night game on Dec. 2.

If the Saints lose at Philadelphia, Seattle will play host to the winner of the San Francisco 49ers-Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau Field on Sunday. San Francisco (12-4) won the season opener over the Packers (8-7-1) 34-28 at Candlestick Park.

The Seahawks (13-3) were 1-1 against NFC West rival San Francisco this season, winning 29-3 at CenturyLink in Week 2 before losing 19-17 at San Francisco on Dec. 8.

Seattle didn’t play the Packers in the regular season this year, but the last meeting was the controversial touchdown catch by Golden Tate in 2012 on the final play of the game to win it 14-12 at CenturyLink. Green Bay fans have called it the “Fail Mary” pass, believing the ball was intercepted by M.D. Jennings.

The Seahawks did play at Green Bay in preseason this year, winning 17-10.

But Seattle won the last time it played at home against all three possible playoff opponents.
