NEW YORK -- All 10 Seattle Seahawks voters said they would choose Pete Carroll as the coach they would want to play for, if that was an option.
Carroll was the clear winner in ESPN.com's NFL Nation Confidential vote. But knowing they couldn’t vote for their own coach, three Seattle players went with former Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley of Jacksonville.
Bradley, who took over as the head coach of the Jaguars this season, is well respected by Seattle's defensive players as the man who helped them become the No. 1 defense in the NFL.
Six coaches received votes among the Seattle players. The other five were New Orleans coach Sean Payton, Miami’s Joe Philbin, Kansas City’s Andy Reid, New England’s Bill Belichick and Rex Ryan of the Jets.
