Seattle Seahawks back-up quarterback Tarvaris Jackson tweeted late Wednesday night that he will return with the Seahawks in 2014.

No official announcement has come from the Seahawks, but it appears Jackson will re-sign with the team, as expected.

Jackson sent out this tweet:

Jackson, 30, was Seattle’s starting quarterback in 2011 before playing the 2012 season in Buffalo. He returned to Seattle last season to back up Wilson.

Jackson is well respected in the Seahawks locker room, especially by the teammates who saw what he did in 2011. Jackson suffered a painful torn pectoral muscle that affected his throwing, but he missed only one game and played through it.
