President Barack Obama will honor the Seahawks at the White House on Wednesday, May 21, the annual visit of the Super Bowl champions.

The exact time of the ceremony hasn’t been listed yet by the White House Press Office, only saying it will take place in the afternoon.

Seattle offensive tackle Michael Bowie tweeted he is excited about meeting the president, and also tweeted: "Imma take a selfie with him."

The tradition of Super Bowl champions visiting the White House started in 1969 after quarterback Joe Namath and the New York Jets upset the Baltimore Colts.
