Judging by how many players received votes in the Sound-Off Saturday survey, it’s no easy task to pick the top 10 Seahawks in history.

First, a big thanks to everyone who sent in a top-10 list. It easily was the biggest response I’ve gotten in any of our Sound-Off Saturday surveys.

I was surprised to see 29 players received at least one vote, based on the listed requirements -- no current players, and each man had to play at least five seasons with the Seahawks.

My top 10 list will run the week of July 4th . The 10 will come from this list of 29 names. Here are the players who received votes at each position:

Quarterbacks: Jim Zorn, Matt Hasselbeck and Dave Krieg.

Running backs: Shaun Alexander, Curt Warner and Chris Warren.

Fullbacks: Mack Strong and John L. Williams.

Wide receivers: Steve Largent, Brian Blades, Bobby Engram and Joey Galloway

Offensive linemen: tackle Walter Jones and guard Steve Hutchinson

Defensive linemen: Cortez Kennedy, Jacob Green, Joe Nash, Michael Sinclair, Sam Adams and Jeff Bryant.

Linebackers: Lofa Tatupu, Chad Brown and Terry Wooden.

Defensive backs: Dave Brown, Eugene Robinson, Kenny Easley and Marcus Trufant.

Kicker: Norm Johnson.

Punter: Rick Tuten.
